Saturday at the Vatican

Saturday started early. We walked from our hotel, which was beautiful, over to the Vatican with our group.

We couldn’t believe how long the line was. In typical Italian fashion, it was complete chaos, but it all worked out, as all Italian things do.

We attended Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica and then had an audience with Pope Leo XIV in the Paul VI Audience Hall.

We also had a chance to look around the Basilica and take some pictures.

We waited two hours for the Pope, which was crazy. His schedule must be insane.
